2011 saw the return of triple platinum selling band, Toploader, with their third studio album Only Human released on award winning independent music company Underdogs Management. The album saw the band, Joseph Washbourn (vocals & keys), Dan Hipgrave (guitar), Matt Knight (bass) and Rob Green (drums), work with producer Danton Supple (Morrissey and Coldplay) to create a more mature sound.

The debut single, Never Stop Wondering, described as a “sparkling comeback” by James Walsh of Q Radio, became the unrivalled soundtrack for Sky Sports and the BBC, providing the anthem for major sporting events such as the FA Cup, Formula One, Cricket World Cup and Rugby Six Nations. Second single, A Balance To All Things then took it a step further making it on to radio playlists across the
country including BBC Radio 2 and Q Radio.
In June 2011 lead singer Joseph Washbourn took to our screens to compete in
ITV1s Popstar to Operastar where his outstanding voice took him right through
to the semi finals. Joseph became not only the judges but the tabloids favourite, receiving overwhelming support from The Sun throughout the campaign.
With Joseph back within the fold, Toploader took to the road to perform at a full
schedule of festivals across Summer 2011, and in Autumn they completed their
first UK tour since the split.
2012 saw a very busy live calendar with the band taking in more UK venues and festivals as well as spreading their wings into Europe where the new record being very positively received.
